Fundraiser for warm pet beds and heating for Kharkiv’s cats and dogs

Volunteers from the Kharkiv organization Animal Guardians UA rescue animals from active combat zones, provide medical care, and help them find new homes. The shelter currently cares for 135 cats and 13 dogs. They need warm beds and blankets to keep the animals from freezing during the daily power outages in the city.The Kharkiv City Animal Care Center also takes in abandoned and injured animals from across the region and from recently liberated areas. Around 400 dogs and 100 cats live there permanently. The center urgently needs fuel for its generators — without it, operations become impossible during power cuts.
